Life In Ed-Tech

Since Covid-19 Pandemic, the word Ed-tech seems to be a familiar face in learning & Education, Almost Every school and college were disrupted by the learning barrier of not being able to attend the school, and this time came the saviors the EDTECH, a revolution combining Education with technology, and to let you know what a day looks like in a life of an Ed-tech salesperson we will start with all the points you need to know.

ED-TECH

In India, the Ed_tech industry is booming with new Entrants every month making a big career opportunity over LinkedIn and career webpages. But is it worth the Hype, The Answer to this question totally depends on your risk to assess the Company and the returns you are expecting.

Your Aim

If your short-term goal is to earn money and build a huge retirement plan or fund your MBA then looking forward to bigger Corporates likes Byjus, Vedantu, Lido, Cuemath, or Akaash Is the answer, these companies provide huge compensation and incentives. for reference a salesperson doing a revenue of almost 2Lac in a week can earn up to 32k as an incentive per week, this is something above the handsome salary.

But, If your long-term goal is to grow with the Company and see yourself in an executive Chambers, down the line five years, then your answer is a young startup with relevant funding and a Product to admire for. The team who used to work in Byjus 5 years back, is currently at an AVP or senior management level, Normally It takes almost 10 to 12 years of experience or a relevant MBA to attain such heights. But the only problem with a Young startup is that it is itself being run by inexperienced employees and is still developing its fundamentals, The inconsistency in payroll, poor HR framework, or a Team leader with no leadership qualities are a few of the issues you can face in your Employment.

The future of Possibilities

Ed-tech holds a very promising and prominent position in the Indian education system from CBSE to State Boards all have started to develop their own version of ed-tech, the reason is quite simple a physical class can accommodate max 60 students but an online class with recorded content has no barriers to the deliverability of classes, giving an extra advantage to scale the learning and growth in terms of revenue.
Ed-Tech space has the potential of Educating the very remote corners of India, wherein either terrain is a challenge or the bad weather.

Let`s know, what is a portfolio and why to waste our time knowing about it.  The portfolio is nothing but a map to a wanderer, an Index to the Bible, or simply an account of investment. over the period of one's life a man makes multiple investments some intangible and some intangible, but what matter most is knowing the health of each and future of the same, It sounds like a lot of tasks! When RAGHU was 20 yr old he got 1000rs SIP, at age of 25 he made 50,000rs FD, at age of 26 he got equity, at 30 a real estate and list continues. But that 1000rs Sip at age of 20 is still dear to him, cause he not only invested money but time too, but what if his SIP started drowning, or he lost hold...

This has forced Humans to think of a better and safer investment platform, where an amount invested is never lost but grows. Today we will be talking about the Time value of money, most of the BCOM or Commerce students have already got the whole idea of this blog. In This generation, money is not only the sole currency but also the Time, if both are intertwined together then it gives the holistic view of the wealth. A sum invested in the bank will yield some positive return in the future but what if the value of money at that point in the future is the same as when invested! For Example, Bruce Wayne Invested 1000$ in the bank and at that time house cost 1000$, a car cost 400$, but 10 years later that 1000$ is now 1100$ in the bank but house prices have soared to 1100$ and car too cost now 500$, so my question is was it worth investing in the bank and waiting for 10 years? W...
